There is much written on the benefits of nature for the brain. A website listing several resources and research is http://www.childrenandnature.org/research/ One article that you might enjoy, also mentions few studies on the effects of nature. http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/ideas/articles/2009/01/04/how_the_city_hurts_your_brain/ You may have seen my post on Twitter yesterday~ I learned of a hospital that now only shows nature TV because of the benefits to the brain and healing. Another wonderful resource is the book, Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv. Hope you enjoy all of it!
