BRAIN FACT: The Brain Does Not Complete Development Until About Age 25

The brain does not fully complete development until about the age of 25. The pre-frontal cortex is the last area of the brain to finish developing. This area helps to control impulses, plan, anticipate consequences, plan, and think in the abstract.
