    Moreover, it's not just about numbers. Early childhood is the time when foundations of geometry (spatial concepts, proportionality), algebra (equivalence, unknowns, correspondences, covariations), and the rest of math areas. Families with math-rich environments during the first couple of years of children's lives can make a huge difference in the future math learning trajectories.
