  1. Not suprising that there is a literacy link to the early years that affects future literacy levels for children. When will policy makers wake up to realize that the investment in early learning must happen at birth. Not just Pre-K.

  2. An investment in primary relationships helps language development, not "early learning". I think this points to the idea that it is language that correlates to later literacy, not teaching literacy at an early age.
