The quality of the relationship an infant has with his or her primary caregivers  has a direct impact on the physical development of the brain. This impacts the nature and extent of a child’s perceptions and capabilities.

Thank you for this brain fact. It is important to be reminded of this. I teach children to read using their own individual learning styles. Visual, kinesthetic and auditory.

It is critical that children have the opportunity to use all of their senses for optimal learning...combined with positive relationships.
